Не, это что-то типа каши - "И будешь есть ты гороховую полбу" (А.С. Пушкин, "Сказка о попе и работнике балде"). Имеется ещё и другая разновидность каши - гуща. А ещё - пареная репа, вкусное и полезное блюдо, на самом деле. И проч., и проч.
